DAY 1 - Cusco - Km 104 - Wiñayhuayna
Transfer from the hotel to the train-station with direction Km 104, between Ollantayatmbo and Aguas Calientes, where we'll start hiking on this Inca Trail. Halfway this net of trails we'll visit the archeological ruins of Chachabamba. After this visit we'll continue our trek upwards to the highest point of this connection where we'll come upon Wiñayhuayna (2650m).  Wiñayhuayna is the most important archeological complex  of this route. The trail continues from Wiñayhuayna, passing Inti Punku (the SunGate at 2780 meters) towards Machu Picchu (2400m). Before visiting the ruins we'll take the bus down to Aguas where we'll pass the night at a hotel. Lunch and dinner.

DAY 2 - Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco
Breakfast. Early rising we’ll take the first bus up to the archeological site of Machu Picchu  where we'll have a guided tour. The excursion will last  about two hours which gives you plenty of time afterwards to visit the site at your own pace and climb up to Huayna Picchu or the Temple of the Moon for those who want to. Afterwards we'll meet together to go down to Aguas Calientes and take the train back to Cusco.
